How to find the Qibla direction (with a compass)
Qibla is the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca. Twilight computes the bearing from your location; with compass permission, turn until the gold arrow points up. No account.
What the Qibla bearing means
- Degrees are clockwise from true north
- In Istanbul it is roughly southeast; the angle changes by city
- Hold the phone flat to reduce magnetic error
How to enable the phone compass
- Allow location or pick a city
- Grant compass permission
- Hold the device flat and bring the gold arrow up
