Tipping customs

We only list countries we have a cautious note for. We will not invent a required percentage for everywhere.

How it works

Use the tip calculator only after you decide a percent. Service charge on the receipt comes first.

Is tipping mandatory?

Not according to this page. Local law and a printed service charge matter more than a travel blog.
